Salt (Pink Himalayan)
About Himalayan Pink Salt
Himalayan pink salt is harvested from the salt mines in the Punjab region of Pakistan. Its distinctive pink color comes from trace minerals like iron and magnesium.
While it contains small amounts of these minerals, it's primarily sodium chloride, like regular table salt. Some people prefer its milder flavor and use it as a finishing salt, in bath salts, or for culinary purposes.
It should still be used in moderation due to its sodium content.
