Should I retest after I have completed my elimination diet and reintroduction?

Retesting After Eliminated Diet and Reintroduction

Your test results, Elimination Diet Plan, and Reintroduction Phase are designed to help you become more in tune with your body, understand what foods and drinks may be causing your unpleasant symptoms, and give your body time to heal from the negative impact your intolerances may have caused your body systems. 

After eliminating the foods and drinks indicated in your results for 30 days, you can begin to re-introduce them one item at a time back into your diet.

Once you reintroduce an item, wait a few days to see how your body will respond.  If you are able to reintroduce the item with no symptoms, then your body may have re-balanced and you will be able to continue to eat the item again in moderation.

We recommend that you retest every 3 months to understand if you have developed any new intolerances, sensitivities, deficiencies or imbalances.  Retesting every 6 months is also acceptable if you feel as though you have not experienced a return of symptoms and that your body is operating optimally.
