Pomegranates

About Pomegranates

Pomegranates are round fruits with a tough, leathery skin and juicy, seed-filled interior. They are cultivated in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions.

Pomegranates are rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, dietary fiber, and potent antioxidants like punicalagins. They are associated with heart health and may have anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranates are generally safe to eat ( please be mindful of your results as these may indicate you should not consume them due to a sensitivity). However, some people may experience digestive discomfort if they consume large quantities of pomegranate seeds.

Pomegranate seeds can be eaten fresh, sprinkled on salads, or used to make juice. They are also a delightful addition to yogurt and desserts.
