I have completed my elimination diet, what's next?

After Your Elimination Diet

Congratulations on sticking to the plan and healing your body!

Digestive enzymes may help with breaking down different parts of food such as fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. They may help aid your digestion. Since some intolerances may be due to a lack of good gut bacteria, aiding them may be beneficial.

Probiotics help add good gut bacteria to your body and prebiotics feed them.

At this point, you should have become more aware of your body and the issues that may begin to present themselves. Try to keep eating a variety of foods and listen to when you may to need to temporarily cut some something out.

Don't forget to retest every 3 months in order to understand how your body is responding to the positive changes you are making and also determine if you have developed any new intolerances or sensitivities, imbalances, or deficiencies which may need to be addressed.

Remember, moderation and rotation of foods in your diet is key to helping your body operate at its full potential and lessen the occurence of unwanted symptoms and intolerances and sensitivities.
